On 8 May, Guo Jinming, one of the Board of Administrator member of Leicester International Institute, Dalian University of Technology (DLI) organized a 5 members visiting group which includes the Dean and the Deputy Dean of DLI to investigated and surveyed in Beijing Jiaotong University, Weihai Campus (BJTU). Leaders from the BJUT side received DLI visiting group warmly.

Li Honglin, the Party Secretary of Beijing Jiaotong University, Weihai Campus extended a warm welcome to Guo Jinming’s group and hoped that they grasp this opportunity to exchange from different aspects and cooperated in different areas in the future because BJTU and DUT had built a friendly and close relationship and the BJTU Weihai Campus and DUT Panjin Campus are both important parts of the two universities.

Guo Jinming expressed his thanks to the BJTU side and then introduced the conditions of the development and system reform briefly. He said that as an international campus of BJTU, Weihai Campus has achieved series of cherished experience in the aspect of international construction. We were willing to ask for new opportunities and meet the challenges for the Sino-overseas in running school in the post-epidemic area.

The two sides talked and exchanged a series of significant topics in the friendly atmosphere such as the construction and guarantee of teaching group, the development and planning of Sino-overseas in running school, measures of contributing to the “Double-first Class” project, teaching and student’s daily routine management, the final project and the commencement. Besides, they surveyed and discussed the problems that emerged in the process of teaching and management of the campus which includes education funding, campus basic construction, institutional improvement, teaching material testing and enrollment and graduation.
