In September Leicester International Institute (DLI) held an online meeting for the parents of 2022 freshmen to enhance their understanding of them on the DLI, campus and DUT. It is a tradition of DLI to form an effective education method of "collaborative education with family and school". Prof. Zhan Jingjing, the President Assistant of DUT and Director of Panjin Campus Administration Committee, British dean, Prof. Pan Jingzhe, DLI Deputy Dean, Prof. Tan Zhenquan, British Academic Lead for Chemistry, Kal Karim attended the meeting. Besides, some DLI staff, freshmen tutors and class advisors and more than 340 freshmen's parents were invited and attended the meeting online. The meeting was hosted by Zhao Lingling.
